NORTH SHERWOOD fOREST PARK:

E|L|S teamed up with Montoya Design Group to refine the master plan and create construction documents for the 26-acre community park.  A redevelopment of an existing, underutilized passive park, the site was once home to Sharp Station, a WWII depot station.  NSF Park is the final community park in BREC's Imagine Your Parks Master Plan.

The new park will have a redesigned pond with spawning beds and natural fish habitats, over an acre of constructed wetlands, nearly 300 native trees, a 1.5-acre playground, and a spray pad for children.  The park also features a lighted .5-mile walking trail, two fishing piers, 4 new pavilions, and a promenade with a mini stage for public gatherings along the pond's southern edge.

The park is expected to be complete in Spring 2017.
